I'm a Freelance Illustrator/Artist based in Portland, OR.
Image-making is a lifelong process for me. It's what I believe I can do best and it's what I'm committed to.
A healthy mind and body are key to sustainable living as an illustrator so in my freetime I can either be found outdoors riding my cross-bike, climbing mountains and running, or indoors preparing meals with my better half and doing as little as possible. I enjoy the essential activities of reading fiction, watching movies, attending shows and listening to music. My vices include; reading too much news on the Internet, watching original series on Showtime and AMC, a tasty Port and/or Reisling and NFL Football.
I am educated in the arts through Otis College of Art & Design and Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. I utilize traditional as well as digital mediums for my illustrations. My work thrives upon new challenges and working under direction as much as it does through personal experimentation and discipline.
My personal philosophy towards successful visual communication is supported by the thorough research of subject matter, a pragmatic approach to concept building, an intuitive emotive, and the impeccable execution of technique.
I am always open to new avenues for assignments so I encourage anybody who is interested in possible services to contact me.
